In a topsy-turvy Armstrong where the previous two champions are fighting against relegation, we’re quietly having one of our better seasons in recent years.

The Heidenfeld is the only league which doesn’t have a fully updated league table, but there’s enough to know that we’re comfortably exceeding expectations.
The O’Hanlon started the season as strong relegation favourites but have been putiting up a spirited battle against the drop so far.
The Bodley A have won all their matches so far, but still have a lot to do if they’re to earn promotion to the BA.
As the league tables update, we look at how each of our five teams has been faring so far.
The club will be open tonight as usual – the last meeting night before the Christmas break.
The Bodley A made it three wins from three when beating a strong Curragh side in Kildare this afternoon.
The Bodley B picked up their first win of the season last night when beating Inchicore 3-2 in a game which we could, amazingly, have won 5-0.
For the third match in a row since the 5½-½ hammering against Inchicore, the O’Hanlon avoided defeat over the board, albeit that the lack of a board 6 again proved decisive overall.
After a string of excellent results against the top teams in the division, the Heidenfeld started into a run of games against the weaker sides with a trip to Rathmines last night. However, the night almost turned to disaster before we rallied to claim “just” a 3½-4½ defeat.
