Five players started round 2 of the club championships with a 100% record; Gerry is the only one left there after round 3 yielded more surprises.
The round 4 draw has been made.
There’s a revised draw for round 3 of the club championships.
The last two games of round 2 took place last night, which means we now have a draw for round 3.
The Alexander Baburin blindfold simultaneous caused unforeseen problems for round 2 of the club championships, but we’re mostly through it now, with just two games left to be played.
This appears to be still ongoing (at 11:30, having started at 5!), but the results of three of the four Benildus players involved are in.
The Irish AM, Ladies’ and Open championships saw derbies, results against titled players and gains aplenty for the Benildus contingent.
Alex Byrne will be Ireland’s representative at the World U-14 Championships to be held in Durban in September.
