The Bodley A recorded an impressive whitewash victory over the Bodley B, but were overshadowed by an amazing performance from the Heidenfeld, who hammered title favourites Celbridge 5½-2½ – scoring more points against them than the Armstrong did last season!
A reminder to all concerned that the Bodley derby is on tonight up the club!
The Armstrong had a decent start to their campaign, beating Balbriggan 4½-2½, with one game still to be played.
Despite the top ten seeds in the Frank Scott Shield being a combined 1100 points higher than the top ten seeds last year, the first round of the 2014 Frank Scott Shield saw its fair share of upsets and close calls – but it was Mariusz in the Heidenfeld who picked up the best result of the night.
Remember that from before the summer? Well, now it’s rated!
The draw has been made for the second round of the Frank Scott Shield.
There’s another change in the Bodley division – Portmarnock have withdrawn and been replaced by Naomh Barróg.
There’s no changes to the fixtures other than that Naomh Barróg directly replace Portmarnock in the fixtures list. The B team’s away game in Portmarnock on 15th January is now an away game against Naomh Barróg on Tuesday 13th January. The A team are at home to Naomh Barróg on Wednesday 28th January.
The ICU have published the September ratings list.
