The regular club night is now closed for the summer – we’ll be back open again probably on Wednesday 31st August. We will be opening our Senior Club Championships for entry shortly, and you can keep an eye on the ICU calendar for other upcoming tournaments.
The club’s first Blitz Grand Prix competition went right down to the wire last night – starting off the night, five players were still in with a chance of outright victory, and even going into the final round of the final round, three players could still win.
There are two Benildus players in the 2016 Glorney squads, which were announced today.
Well done to Ben Murray, whose St Mary’s Haddington Road team won the National Primary School title at the weekend!
With the end of the year fast approaching, we’re asking if anyone with books or DVDs on loan from the library can check them back in before we close for the summer.
A reminder that the re-arranged final round of the blitz will now be on this Wednesday from 8pm, with prizegiving immediately afterwards.
