The club will be back open for regular meeting nights from next Wednesday, and we’ll also be taking names for the 2017 Frank Scott Shield, with the first round scheduled for the Wednesday after Junior Cert results (so probably 20th September), pending news of the league fixtures for the season. Gerry will take on Dylan next Wednesday to decide the title of 2017 senior club champion.
Gerry has one hand back on the club championships after dismissing the second seed in last Wednesday’s action, and he now just needs a draw against either Dylan or Ciarán to take a third title in four years.
The draw has been made for Wednesday’s fourth round of the club championships.
Gerry has once again broken clear after last Wednesday’s third round, with three challengers just a half point behind.
The Killane were narrowly defeated in their Killane Shield semi-final last night in Drumcondra.
