The board 3 jinx strikes again, the biggest upset ever, and the draw for the third round…
There’s been 23 Blitz Grand Prix tournaments over the past four years – and Ciarán has found a 24th that I wasn’t even aware of (partly because I didn’t play it). The 2019 club championships got underway on Wednesday, and while it produced no David v Goliath prize contenders for the first time ever, there was still a couple of notable results over the evening.
The draw has been made for the second round of the 2019 senior club championships.
