A round-up of how we’ve being doing domestically while the European campaign was on.
A look back at the 2019 European Club Cup – the start of a new tradition, which title we have a jinx over, and how Montenegro compared to previous years.
The draw has been made for next month’s final round of the 2019 Frank Scott Shield.
Kavin is the sole leader of the 2019 Frank Scott Shield going into the final round, but only after a couple of remarkable turnarounds on the higher boards.
For anyone interested, the Munster Junior Championships will take place next weekend in Ennis. Entry is open to all, but only Munster players may win titles. Full details are here.

Montenegro 2019 came to an end with another match point, this time when we drew with the Luxembourg side seeded one place above us.
Another decent performance, a run-in with the arbiter, and a Top Gear road trip.
Round 5 of our 2019 European campaign ended in a fairly satisfactory narrow defeat against Turkish bottom seeds Tatvan which saw all bar one of the squad get off the mark for the week.
