Kilmacud Crokes are into the Leinster Club Final after beating Portarlington in Croker today, a match which was live on RTÉ1. Their man of the match is pictured opposite giving his post-match interview – but who remembers him from his unbeaten Bodley season for St Benildus in 2011/12?
Below is an update from Monday’s EGM of the Leinster Chess Union looking at how to resume over-the-board chess. Note as well the call for expressions of interest for a second season of the Hibernian Online League to start in January – if anyone is interested in playing, let me know. In the meantime, the school are considering our proposal to re-open club nights, although it will be after Christmas when their next management meeting can consider this.
