The 2022 Olympiad opening ceremony gets underway around about now, with games due to start tomorrow. And for the first time in 12 years – and only the third time ever – there’ll be St Benildus involvement.
Continue ReadingThe ECU have voted to strip the Russian city of Sochi of its right to host the 2024 European Club Cup, and instead awarded the tournament to the Serbian spa town of Vrnjačka Banja. Tournament dates will be agreed at a later date.
The 2023 tournament is in Durrës in Albania from 30th September to 8th October, and we’ll be entering the National Club Championships in due course in an attempt to qualify.
This year’s tournament is in Mayrhofen in Austria from 2nd – 10th October and with no qualifying NCC, we’re sending a team of Lara, Kavin, Leon, Kevin Mc, Brendan L, John, me and Brendan C (exact board order to be confirmed closer the time of course)
There’s a couple of bye requests for round 2, so there’s a revised draw for Wednesday’s games, with only one new pairing.
