Yubo took his first Blitz Grand Prix win in our first tournament since Feb 2020 to have players pick up no Grand Prix points, as entry exceeded 20 players, boosted by four of Vjeko’s students.

St Benildus marked the 50th National Club Championships with our first ever win, and in doing so will travel to Albania for the European Club Cup in October as champions of Ireland.

St Benildus have won the National Club Championships for the first time in our history after a remarkably dramatic finale in Ennis this weekend.

Round 2 of the 2023 Blitz Grand Prix is on this week, starting at the usual time of “When Ciarán arrives” (or around about 8pm). Usual story – six rounds, over by 10pm.
