The 2022 Olympiad opening ceremony gets underway around about now, with games due to start tomorrow. And for the first time in 12 years – and only the third time ever – there’ll be St Benildus involvement.

Continue ReadingCongratulations to Lara, who has been selected for the upcoming Olympiad in Chennai in India. She’ll be the first Benildus player to travel since Nicky Benson went to the 2010 Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk. Gerry O’Connell (Elista 1998) is the only other player to represent the country while a St Benildus player.
Diana Bueckert was named as third reserve in the event of any withdrawals.

The Glorney 2021 was an online event again, and Benildus was well-represented, including an overall winner.
