The LCU AGM will be on 3 July in the United Arts Club, home of Dublin Chess Club. The motions and nominations are attached here (pdf download). We can send up to two representatives, or if you have any views on any of the motions, you can let the committee know.
There’s three Benildus players in action in the first major ECU tournament ever to be held in Ireland (courtesy of ICU President and Benildus member Desmond Beatty of course). Lara is top seed in the Girls’ U17 section and is one of five players tied for the lead on 4/5, having lost to the second seed in the opening round. Lorena is on 1/5 in the Girls’ U11 section, while Mateo is on 3/5 in the U15 section, with both losses to 2050-rated players.
